EXISTING VENTURES
The Private Investor buys shares in an existing Holding that is already investing in promising new ventures. Either by taking over shares from another Private investor, or by taking up unissued shares5
EXISTING BALANCED
The Private Investor buys shares in an existing Holding that is already investing in a balanced portfolio of businesses. Either by taking over shares from another Private investor, or by taking up unissued shares.6

Under certain circumstances, it can be useful to fund businesses by means of short- or long-term loans and bonds. In general Charon Griffin & Partners will only engage in this with businesses in which their managed Holdings are already invested.7

The Private Investor sets the parameters for Charon Griffin & Partners to determine the right fit of new ventures to set up a Holding for to invest in. This can be an industry, a geographic location, a size, etc. Together can be established if this Holding is open for other Private Investors to buy shares in as well.8
